We Join our Prayers with Yours for Peace and the End to Gun Violence

We enfold our world in peaceful prayer, joining together in thoughts of well-being, peace and safety for those affected by recent shootings, including those in Dadeville, AL; Nashville, TN; Lansing, MI; Chesapeake, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; Raleigh, NC; Highland Park, IL; Buffalo, NY; and Lexington, KY. We affirm that the Love of God is mightier than hate and greater than any challenge that we may encounter. God is an endless stream of love and light which expresses through all souls and brings about harmony and healing. Together, we pray for, envision, and claim a loving world that works for all! Through inspired action, we do our part to bring this about.

Together, We Hold the Highwatch for Those Affected by Recent Strong Weather Conditions

We join together with you in prayer as we hold the highwatch for the people and animals affected by strong weather strong weather in Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. In addition, we pray for those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey, Syria, and Mexico. We hold in the light floods, fire, tornadoes, and elevated temperatures around the world. We hold the highest vision for rescue and medical teams to safely reach those in need. We also affirm appropriate shelter, food, water and other support. We know the presence and power of God is mighty and is active in every situation. We affirm right outcomes!

Together We Pray for the People of Ukraine

Our hearts join together in prayer for the people of Ukraine. We hold the highest vision for peace and tranquility! We give thanks knowing that God is present in every situation.

During World War II, an adviser to Prime Minister Winston Churchill organized a group of people to stop whatever they were doing at a certain time each night to pray and usher in peace, safety, and security.

They did this every day, and it was as if the city stood still, such was the power of prayer. The result was so overwhelming that the bombings were stopped after a short time!

Now we are organizing again, a group of people of different nationalities, to spend one minute praying daily for the peace, well-being and security of our countries, for an end to the problems that oppress, and for Spirit-guided decisions of leaders around the world.

Join in this initiative with a prayer from your own spiritual tradition as you feel led. Please feel free to share out to those you know in your congregations and communities!

Humanitarian Statement from Unity Worldwide Ministries

Unity Worldwide Ministries is an international spiritual organization which honors the inherent dignity and value of all humanity. We have great compassion for immigrants, asylum seekers, and refugees and strongly support legislation that seeks humane immigration reform, including humanitarian treatment for families, adequate food, medical care, and essential services. We also support putting an end to discriminatory practices on the basis of national origin and stand in solidarity with those who advocate for legislative reform based on human rights for all those seeking asylum.

You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. - Leviticus 19:34

We Stand for Reproductive Rights

We at Unity Worldwide Ministries feel deeply disturbed and heartbroken by the decision of the United States Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, denying the constitutional protections of women’s reproductive rights which have been in place for the past fifty years. The implications of this decision are far-reaching, since there is a real possibility that other human rights are in danger of being revoked as well.

UWM believes that all human life is sacred and worthy of respect. Because of our deeply held spiritual beliefs regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion we stand for the rights of women to make their own decisions concerning their bodies and their medical treatment. We believe that reproductive rights are human rights, which do not require government intervention, and we will advocate for those rights based on the foundational principles of our faith.

To the women who are being impacted by this decision, please know that our member ministries are committed to supporting you in every way we can. We pray that the combined efforts of all spiritual communities who advocate for human rights will make a powerful and positive impact on legislation that will free women to have autonomy over their reproductive rights and medical care.

Prayers for Guidance

Unity Worldwide Ministries joins in prayer for right outcomes. We acknowledge the worth of all people, including women, and we affirm the presence of infinite intelligence that guides decisions regarding their life's unique path including their health and reproductive choices. We give thanks for the insights, resources, and support that show up as answered prayer.

Our Prayers Continue for the Coronavirus Outbreak

We invite you to join in one of the following prayers or one of your own choosing.
We wrap our world in prayer today, knowing God is greater than whatever we face—greater than illness, loss, injustice, and confusion. God is an ever-flowing stream of love and wisdom, pouring through each of us to anoint our earth with healing, harmony, and wholeness.
We know that God is a Love that has no end and a Power that knows no bounds. God’s healing power of Divine Life is restoring, healing, and revitalizing our world in this very moment. We let go of any fears or anxieties, and we affirm that all are safe, healthy, and protected. We bless all those who support us in maintaining vibrant radiant health. We express Divine Life in all we think, say, and do. We bless our global family with radiant health, peace of mind, and abundant love.

Communications from UWM
Updates on Recent Challenging Weather Conditions

4/4/2023 We've connected with Beverly Pryor in Little Rock, Arkansas, whose home was hit by the recent tornado. She is displaced at this time and as we obtain additional information regarding her situation and that of her community, we will post an update here. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts of convern. Unity Worldwide Ministries extends our prayers for our church families.

9/29/2022 We've reached out to obtain information regarding our Florida ministries affected by hurricane Ian. While some ministries experienced damage to their building, most ministries reported no or minimal damage. We've learned that all ministries are up and running with electricity. We've communicated with the ministries who experienced damage and  offered financial support to help with cleanup and repair. We realize it may take quite a while for affected communities to recover from the strong winds and flooding that occured during this storm. We join with you in prayer for safety and well-being of our credentialed leaders and church congregations.

9/20/2022 UWM has reached out to all of the Unity ministries in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic following hurricane Fiona. Credentialed leaders and ministries in Mexico have been contacted as well.  We remain in prayer for the safety and well-being of our credentialed leaders, congregants, and their dear ones.

12/14/2021 UWM has been in touch with our ministries in Kentucky and Illinois where tornadic activity caused widespread destruction. To date, no ministry has reported damage and we commit to staying in touch to learn of any updates. Our prayers continue for the recovery and success of our communities and leaders.
