Description
Unity in the Gold Country (UGC) is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills, conveniently positioned between the historic Gold Rush towns of Nevada City and Grass Valley. In our search for a fulltime replacement minister, we envision a compassionate, caring, energetic, and prayerful person who will guide our congregation forward, enhancing our spiritual growth.
We are a vibrant community that not only draws from the wisdom of our elders but opens its arms to the younger generations. There is a high level of spiritual understanding among the congregants, fueled, not only by the Sunday services, but by the many ongoing learning groups.
UGC is a Christ-conscious Center open to Unity foundational teachings, religions from around the world and new spiritual concepts. The right candidate lives the Unity principles day-to-day and demonstrates a sensitivity that supports our diverse community of approximately 125 members/non-members. There is an environment of inclusivity welcoming people of all walks of life.
